From Marq Lewis the writer, director and producer of GREED comes his debut full feature film Sharon the Movie. Sharon Tills is a hard working marketing representative whose job includes getting flowers for her adulterous boss’s special “clients.” She is a widow who lost both her husband and son in a tragic accident and is seeing Dr. Stone, her psychiatrist to help her cope with the loss and pain. Sharon is comfortable in her low key, albeit mundane lifestyle and has no desire for a romantic relationship. That is until she meets the much younger Thomas. As much as she tries to resist his advances, Sharon is drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Her humorous street smart friend Tiffany attempts to help Sharon out of her shell and into the arms of the irresistible younger man. Unknown to Thomas and even Sharon’s close friends, she hides a dark and painful secret. The secret that she so desperately has tried to hide for decades comes back to her in the form of a letter from the parole board. Sharon’s past is now coming at her like a speeding freight train threatening to derail her life and her new found love. Will Sharon be able to escape from her past again or will it consume her and tear her world apart?

Sharon the Movie is dramatic, yet humorous, heartbreaking and delightful. It pushes you to the highest and lowest of emotional limits; and just when you think the rollercoaster has ended, it takes you on another ride leaving you gasping for air. It is a movie that proves you can succeed and win at life even when you are faced with insurmountable pain and despair.
