Christian rap artist with an exciting energetic style that gives God all the praise

Blake Chambers was born in Durham, NC. At a young age he fell in love with music especially hip hop. At the age of 15 he started free style rapping on his own. Blake attributes his mother, father and Eminem as three people who have influenced his life. Blake’s family brought him up in the charge but when he got older he strayed away from the church. His best friend Richard Wall invited back to church. Richard would use different games and bribes to go to try to get him to go to church with him. Blake finally gave in and went with his friend. Once there he realized that life with Jesus was better than life without him. Since he grew up in the hip hop culture and since he had accepted Christ back in his life he started listening to gospel rap. Although the gospel rap he listened to was good he felt there was something missing. He felt his own testimony could help to praise and glorify God. Blake’s motto and favorite scripture is II Tim 2:3-4. “Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” Blake lives by this scripture and has adapted the title of soldier as his rap name.
